Why conductors are use to make capacitor? Can we make capacitor using insulators?

Capacitors are used to store electric charge and to store electric charges we need a conductor

1 pF is 1 picofarad and and 1 uF is 1 microfarad, capacitance tells you how much energy can be stored and as you can see pico is way smaller

A capacitor is almost like a super fast battery. But batterys take a while to charge. A capacitor can charge super fast and store that energy untill released.

Is there any difference between the types of capacitors used such as ceramic, radial, polyester, etc? How do I choose which type to use or doesn't it matter?
